Hi gum lovers!
This post is just to let you know that I have Wrigley's Big Red chewing gum up for auction on Ebay! It was selling for $11.99 but I have LOWERED the price to just $9.85! Please don't miss this great deal for a box of 200 sticks! That's a WHOLE lot of gum! The gum is NEW and still in the original packaging. This is a fresh batch ready for you to enjoy! Shipping is a flat rate of $3.85 through the USPS Priority mail system. International shipping is $9.00. Big Red is not available in Europe so this makes a great gift for all your Euro friends/family. Save on shipping by purchasing two boxes for the same shipping price! Thank you for your taking the time to read this post. Please email me at theedgeofnite@msn.com with any questions.

ahoy! no one has been on here for a long time. i will post anyways. i have the biggest gum fetish in the world. i love gum. just love it. my absolute favorite kind of gum is bubble yum, not only coz it has a whole shiteload of sugar but because the duck on the front is a punk. thats total awesomeness. and they just recently lowered the price of it. so yesterday i went out and bought 18 packs of bubble yum. you'll never guess how many packs i've eaten already...6...just about at once. but i really had to brush my teeth and the huge wad accidentaly fell in the garbage. c'est la vie. anyways. so the long and short of this stroy is: i love gum.

» Bubble Yum Fun Facts and History
If all the five-chunk packs of BUBBLE YUM ever chewed in the U.S. since its introduction in 1975 were laid end-to-end, they would reach more than seven times around the earth at the equator.
In the U.S., 1.3 billion chunks of BUBBLE YUM are sold each year. That's 3.6 million chunks a day. That's 10 billion bubbles a year blown by American BUBBLE YUM blowers.
BUBBLE YUM was introduced in 1975. It was the first chunk bubble gum in which five individually wrapped pieces were overwrapped in paper which insured a soft flexible gum.
The first known bubble gum, "Blibber Blubber," appeared in 1906. It failed to catch on because it was too sticky and too brittle so it didn't hold together when it was chewed.
The first successful bubble gum was invented by Walter E. Diemer in the summer of 1928. A 23-year-old accountant who knew nothing about chemistry, Diemer created his invention in a tiny laboratory in Philadelphia. The only food coloring he had on hand was pink. "It was an accident," Mr. Diemer said in an interview with The Lancaster Intelligencer Journal in 1996. "I was doing something else and ended up with something with bubbles."
Twist-wrapped like salt-water taffy and sold in yellow wrappers, Diemer's bubble gum became the world's biggest-selling penny candy. He helped market the pink stuff by teaching salesmen how to blow bubbles so they could demonstrate the new product.
In 1979 BUBBLE YUM introduced the first chunk sugar-free bubble gum.

Hi I am Celtic Gypsy. I noticed that under interests you don't have Cherry Coke. There are a lot of LJ users who love it...it has been the topic of conversation more than once. Also it is Mr. Pibb, not Dr. Pibb. Please forgive me if I seem rude. I figured that it would help in searches. I must admit that Cherry Coke is my favorite drink. Thank you for inviting me to your group.

My parents and big sister started eating my lip gloss...they're like, "Mmm! This is good! Watermelon!" Actually, it's watermelon and blue raspberry, but heck. Yesterday and today, my cartooning teacher, Lauren, gave us Ice Pops...the day before it was licorice. I just finished my 7Up from yesterday...I need some soda.
